FRP’s Online Registration Is Open
- 06 February 2017
Formula Race Promotions (FRP) and USAC Racing have opened the new FRP online registration system for the much-anticipated 2017 Atlantic, F2000 and F1600 Championship Series. The first race of the year will be a spectator event with Pirelli World Challenge -- April 28-30 at VIR.
FRP’s online registration, specifically designed for FRP, uses the USAC registration system: it is intuitive and easy to navigate and brings in an entirely new and streamlined sign-up process -- thanks to new sanctioning affiliation provided by USAC Racing.
ALL PARTICIPANTS -- Drivers, Crew, Staff, Officials, VIP/Partners and Media, need a FRP/USAC hard card License (credentials). To register, each individual must go to www.FRPLicense.com, and follow the intuitive prompts. A photo is required, and must be uploaded on the site otherwise the form will not complete. A selfie from a smartphone will work. (Say Cheese!)
Single event participants must also register on this site -- follow the prompts for the “Single Event Credential”.
There is no charge for the FRP/USAC hard card License (credentials). Register early and hard cards will be mailed directly to the participant, otherwise they can be picked up at the track.
SERIES REGISTRATION and EVENT ENTRY – to register for the 2017 Series and enter for a single or multiple events, the site is: www.FRPEntry.com. Follow the intuitive prompts.
For entrants who will be racing only 1-2 FRP events in 2017, the Series Registration is waived, and only the individual event entry is required. With participation in a third event, Series Registration and its fee, IS required.
For entrants planning to race the full 2017 season, there is a package discount available if registered prior to March 1st. The website will automatically adjust the price when registration and all events are chosen.
All seven 2017 FRP events are open for entry. An entrant who has registered for the season may select and enter all desired events at once, or return and enter them individually as the season progresses.
There is a $100 late fee imposed for entries within 7 days of the start of an event.
In Keeping with the FRP’s Mantra of: Affordable – Competitive – Racing; FRP has lowered the 2017 entry costs for F1600 & F2000, which are now set at $850/weekend ($675 for the Indy Event, Including Atlantic participants), and $950 for the Series Registration.
“We provide the best value in North America open wheel racing, period. This has always been the case, and for 2017, we’re lowering entry fees for our F2000 and F1600 Series to make them even more attractive,” commented FRP’s Robert Wright and Al Guibord, co-owners.
2017 promises to be an exciting season. Three of our events are spectator events on major race weekends, supporting Pirelli World Challenge at VIR, SVRA at Indianapolis, and Trans-Am at NJMP. After a long hiatus, we are returning to Summit Point with the Woodbridge Karting Club. The rest of the season includes a return to Pitt Race (newly repaved) and two visits to the iconic and favorite Mid-Ohio, with the ever fun Right Coast Formula Ford Series & The FV Challenge Cup joining us there.
The Season is upon us, REGISTRATION IS OPEN
