Jim Goughary: This is really tough to pick just one but it has to be winning the Trans-Am race at Watkins Glen in 2009. I have won the Runoffs, Pro events and Pro Championships but that 1 race for me is what I would pick. So much history in Trans-Am and I have followed it for so long. Then I was given the opportunity to drive in a few of those races which was a dream come true (I know that sounds so sappy but it is true).

Ft. Lauderdale, FL – HP-Tech Motorsport just concluded a Florida test for potential F2000 Championship Series driver and Petrobras scholarship winner Olin Galli. In addition, the team has added another F2000 Van Diemen and F1600 Spectrum/Honda under its stable. The 2012 F2000 Champions are looking forward to building on a string of podiums that closed the 2013 season.

(January 31, 2014) – Talented young drivers Ayla Agren, Augie Lerch and Garth Rickards will carry the torch for Team Pelfrey as the Florida-based organization expands this year into the F1600 Championship Series. The trio will drive identical Mygale-Honda F1600 cars in the 14-race series which begins April 11-13 at Road Atlanta.

Salem, NH – Formula Race Promotions today named Chip Robinson Race Director for the 2014 F2000, F1600 and Atlantic Championship Series. Robinson brings decades of road racing experience to the position, including starts in IndyCar and wins at the 12 Hours of Sebring and 24 Hours of Daytona. Robinson takes the place of Lynda Randall, who is stepping down due to personal reasons.
