Wampum, PA - Zach Holden was quickest in Friday F1600 Championship Series over two long green-flag practice sessions. The K-Hill Motorsports driver, coming off a win at Mid-Ohio, ran the fastest time at the newly paved Pittsburgh International Race Complex with a lap of 1:47.062 coming late in the day.
Second fastest on the day was Matthew Cowley, the points leader, who ran a time of 1:48.044 in the afternoon session. His quick time came on his 12th of 18 flying laps around the 19-turn track.
